I.S.L.A. FAMILY WORKSHOP Curriculum
Mostly appropriate for the entire family. This workshop will teach families about health and family oriented concepts such as food safety, child safety, diabetes prevention and self-management, smoke cessation & prevention, mental health and wellness, budgeting and taxation. The workshops will promote healthy family dynamics and safety.

Supervised agricultural experience projects, and leadership and interpersonal skills development prepare students for continued training, advanced educational opportunities, or entry to a career.

HIV/AIDS Prevention / Support

The HIV Prevention modules emphasize new prevention strategies both for persons with HIV infection and for persons not infected with HIV. This module also addresses occupational and nonoccupational HIV post-exposure prophylaxis as well as pre-exposure prophylaxis (PREP).
